New Standard Technology & Trim Level
Hyundai already loads every vehicle with a plethora of standard features, so it’s surprising when the automaker can find more to add. For 2025, the new Palisade is available in the SEL Premium trim - a mid-level trim that has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, driver’s seat memory settings, heated and ventilated front seats, along with a heated steering wheel and heated second-row seats.
The automaker offers the Palisade in a handful of trims, starting with the entry-level SE with cloth seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, navigation, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, several USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a push-button start. The mid-level SEL adds synthetic leather upholstery and a second-row captain’s chairs.
The new SEL Premium trim sits between the XRT and Limited trims. Hyundai added Parking Distance Warning and a Surround View Camera to the XRT trim. The Limited has posh features like a dual-pane sunroof, ambient interior lighting, power-folding third-row seats, a Head-Up Display, and genuine leather upholstery.
At the top is the Calligraphy trim with Nappa leather upholstery, a digital rearview mirror, a massaging driver’s seat, and additional tech and styling features.
Plenty of Power & Exceptional Safety
The three-row midsize SUV is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has 291 horsepower with standard front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive. Hyundai lets drivers control the transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
The peppy powertrain is enhanced with several driver-assistance features. Hyundai includes Forward Collision Warning, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keep Assist, Lane-Centering Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Stop-and-Go Adaptive Cruise Control, Pedestrian Detection, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Automatic High Beams, Vehicle Exit Warning, Junction-Turning Detection, and Driver-Attention Monitoring.
